Project no.12: Vehicles, air pollution and human health (for scientific divulgation)

Sarah Burgarella, Biomedical Engineer, was invited by Camminando ONLUS, a non-profit organization for the promotion of walking for health, to organize a conference on "Vehicles, air pollution and human health". The conference was held in Gambassi Terme (Florence, Italy) in April 2016.

Gambassi Terme is a small town located in the countryside of Tuscany, on the Via Francigena, the ancient road and pilgrim route running from France to Rome. In medieval times it was an important road and pilgrimage route. Nowadays many walking routes cross this wonderful area of the Tuscany countryside.
